This homemade sauce is perfect for potato pancakes. Mushroom sauce also tastes great with boiled noodles, scrambled eggs, a piece of bread or roasted meat. This is one of the first dishes I prepare with the beginning of the forest mushroom season.
Mushroom Sauce, Made of Fresh Forest Mushrooms
Mushrooms are not only tasty and aromatic, but also healthy. They contain vitamins, are low in calories, act on our digestive tract like a brush, cleaning it of toxins.
- 1 kg Fresh forest mushroom
- 1-2 onion
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 2-3 tbsp of butter
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1 glass of cream
- 1-2 glass of water
- salt, pepper
- Clean the mushrooms thoroughly, rinse quickly and dry. Cut into half slices. Peel the onion and garlic and chop. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onion. Then add the mushrooms and when they release the juice, add the garlic and simmer for about 10 minutes. until the mushrooms are soft.Then pour water (or broth), reduce the power of the burner and simmer covered for about 10 minutes.Then add the cream and season to taste with salt, pepper and chopped parsley. Now you can turn the sauce off or cook longer if it is to be thicker. If the sauce is too thick, add water or vegetable stock.
